With Biofuel Review now reaching a critical mass in terms of site visitors and subscribers to the newsletter, we are now in a position to offer potential advertisers some interesting opportunities to reach a very distinct and targeted market.

Initially the advertising on the site will be a mixture of banners only with 468 x 60 banners available throughout the site and three positions of 125 x 125 banners in the right hand column on all pages.

The cost of advertising is:

  468 x 60 banners on the front page £150 per month
468 x 60 banners selected inside pages (notably news pages) £100 per month
468 x 60 banners in the weekly newsletter £150 per issue (only one banner per issue)
125 x 125 banners in right hand column front page £100 per month
125 x 125 banners in right hand column selected internal pages £75 per month

This is more dynamic, targeted and substantially less expensive that hard copy advertising and we believe offers the advertiser a good return on investment. Click though rates do vary but we are looking at about 2.5 - 3% for some of our current advertisers.

In terms of visitors we have a growing readership (as you can see from the graph below readership grown steadily over the year we have been publishing), plus a number who take the site rss feed. We also have a growing list of subscribers to our weekly newsletter (currently 2,383).
