Finland: IEA report on biofuels market

The International Energy Agency (IEA) Bioenergy Task Force 40 in collaboration with the Lappeenranta University of Technology and the Technical Research Centre of Finland have published their report "Solid and Liquid Biofuels Market in Finland-A Study on International Biofuels Trade".

The study is the most exhaustive of its kind yet undertaken in a European country, and considers the current Finnish biofuels market and identifies the challenges and opportunities that face it.

The study covers all forms of biomass, including wood waste, peat, biogas, ethanol, methanol and biodiesel.
